Structure of Alkenes

Alkenes are a homologous series of compounds have the general formula: CnH2n.
Here are the molecular formulae and names of the first five alkenes in the series:
  • Ethene - C2H4
  • Propene - C3H6
  • Butene - C4H8
  • Pentene - C5H10
