Simple explanation of Quality of Life

Quality of Life is about how good/worthwhile someone's life is. It is not just about material goods (money, property and objects etc.), it is about someone's physical and mental wellbeing, their ability to live without excessive suffering, to experience life, and to communicate and interact with others and, if they choose, with God.

Sanctity

The quality of being sacred or holy.

Christian Beliefs

Christians talk about human life as sacred, when considering issues such as abortion, euthanasia, embryo research, the care of disabled or the elderly. They believe there is something special or holy about human life. Every human, Christians believe, is special to God.

Buddhists Beliefs

Buddhists and some non-religious  people believe that all life, not just human life, is special and should be respected, even if it is not given by God. They might put humans first, but only because they are capable of greater suffering if things go badly for them. They show this in various teachings and practices.
