Obesity Debate

Debate: "May employers discriminate against obese people?"

For

Obese should put more effort in. Fat people do not look like highly efficient workers. They don't look disciplined.
An unproductive cost. Obese workers take more leave and are less productive. There is not a lot of health discrimination protection and I don't think there should be for unhealthy workers.
Justified..? A large number of employers do judge on body image. Not hiring someone based on size is shallow but a lot of employers don't want to take the risk of hiring someone who may have major health problems down the road. (Opening point)

Against

No! You have got to be equal to all people. Obesity could be because of a certain lifestyle and they should not be discriminated because of leading their lives how they want to!
